So you want a wedding but the idea of hosting 150 plus guest overwhelms you (it's me), a micro wedding is the answer. Micro weddings are all the rage right now. As we ease our way out of a pandemic, it's also the perfect time to pare down that guest list and splurge on details. The best part, you can have what you want, when you want. Trust me, if you're a covid bride, you deserve it.

An intimate back yard affair? Yes please. A week night wedding that lands on a date you love? Go for it. A garden party for 50 or less, with violinist, and toasts from guests that love you the most? Yes. you. can.

Need a little inspiration to get started? Here are a few of my favorite things! Wedding details that make me swoon from some of the best vendors around.

Ready to go micro? Let's start with a table for all. This 24 person family style table was styled to perfection. Calligraphy place cards, multicolored glasses, acrylic seating, gold accents, and a floral centerpiece that was worthy of a ballroom for 300.

M&M Rentals in Humboldt, TN has ALL of the pretties. Linens, chargers, colorful glassware, tapers, china, and more. The best part, your limited seating event means each guest can have the finest dinnerware. Welcome to the head table, everyone.

Give Morgan a call and watch your vision come to life. (731) 695-3563  You can see more here M&M Rentals

You heard it here first, charcuterie cones are the new charcuterie boards. Am I stepping on the hottest trend since cupcake shops? Yes. Do I stand by my statement? Also yes. Just look. how. cute.  Still prefer a board? I get it. The Charcuterie Queen in Lexington, TN is an expert of all things charcuterie and will make your salty dreams come true. Place your order by calling the shop 731) 249-9168. Find out more here The Charcuterie Queen

While we're making all things micro, let's talk about the wedding cake. Friends, I love a 5 tier wedding cake more than anyone. Honestly, way more than anyone. But, strategically placed 4 inch mini cakes in flavors of chocolate, lemon and vanilla. Be still my sugar rushed heart. These beautiful gems from Cakes by Laurie in Medina, TN were almost too pretty to eat. Almost. You can reach her at laurie.matlock@gmail.com or find her here Cakes by Laurie

Trust me, I've had A LOT of wedding cake. This was truly the best. Not kidding.

Let's not forget Crown Winery wine, bubbly, and the engraved champagne glasses. It's the details darling.

Ahh, peonies. Aren't they gorgeous? Mrs. Rhonda, owner of The Petal Pushers, really out did herself with the perfect bouquet. That centerpiece? The equivalent of at least 12 bridesmaids bouquets. Total number of bridesmaids? Zero.

Q. Do you see how that works out?

A. Beautifully.

Before you go. Be sure to have your guests line up for the fresh petal toss. It's timeless. Beautiful. Best of all, 0% chance of being burned by a wine dizzy loved one. Give Mrs. Rhonda a call and you'll be dripping in florals before you know it. (731) 234-4983

So what's a bride to wear to her micro wedding? Anything she wants. This gorgeous crepe gown from Adore by Justin Alexander was perfect for dancing in the vineyard. Pair it with glam makeup and a playful party pony by Kayla Scott's Hair and Makeup and you're ready for the best night ever! Bonus: no bridal party means no 9 am call time. It also affords you the possibility that Kayla herself could fit you on her books before 2023. But I make no promises.

For the final touch, a wall worthy splurge that is sure to make you smile for years to come.

A live painter for your wedding of any size will entertain your guests and commemorate your day forever. Mackenzie Kissell Art is without a doubt one of the most talented artist I know. You want her at your wedding. Find her here: www.mackenziekissellart.com

Special thank you to Crown Winery for hosting our styled shoot, serving us delicious pizza and never ending wine. This 731 venue feels like it's a world away. Rolling hills, grapes on the vine, and a sunset that is unmatched. It's a dream to shoot there.

If I've convinced you to forego the courthouse wedding and have an intimate event of your own, be sure to inquire about the KKP micro wedding photography package. You deserve a day to remember. I'm here to capture every detail, every special moment, so you may have it forever.
