After more than a decade behind the camera, I've learned how to find that balance. Along with a few other things worth getting right.

I’m a big believer in being someone people can count on. The way I communicate before your wedding, the person who walks through the door that morning, and the person standing beside you when something goes sideways should all feel the same.
Warm, honest, prepared, and paying attention.

That carries into the photographs, too. You don’t have to arrive knowing how to pose or suddenly become comfortable with a camera pointed at you. I know what I’m looking for, and I’ll help you get there.

You’ll look your best. And you’ll still recognize yourself when you do.

I believe if something is worth doing, it’s worth taking the extra minute to do well.

That means watching the light, adjusting the little things, and getting as much right in the moment as I can. It also means resisting the urge to turn your wedding into whatever happens to be popular this year.

ADVENTURE
Welcomes the Unexpected

I’ve always been a little bit of a dreamer. Give me a beautiful plan and I’ll love it. Give me the chance to do something we didn’t plan at all, and I’ll probably love that too.

Some of my favorite photographs have started with, “What if we…”

A sailboat engagement session. A three-day detour to the Biltmore. Portraits outside when everyone else is worried about the rain.

If there’s something worth chasing, I’m usually game to see where it takes us.

I care a lot about making people feel taken care of. Maybe that’s the Southern hospitality in me, but I don’t think you should have to ask for everything you need before someone notices.

After hundreds of weddings, I’ve gotten pretty good at knowing what deserves attention and what can wait.

I know when to step in and take the lead, and when everything is going exactly as it should, I’m perfectly happy to step back and let you have fun.

KIMBERLY KIMBLE

Long before Kimberly photographed weddings, she was the teenager everyone handed the disposable camera to on vacation. She was always the one taking the photos, making sure the people, places, and memories they loved came home with them.

That instinct never left. When friends began asking her to photograph their weddings, she kept saying yes, because she loved being trusted with something that only happens once.

She still approaches every wedding that way: grateful, honest, and aware of just how much is being placed in her hands. She believes the talent itself is a gift from God, and she doesn't take it lightly.

Kimberly’s work has appeared in Magnolia Rouge, Green Wedding Shoes, Southern Bride, and Destination I Do. She also serves on the board of her local chapter of the Wedding International Professionals Association. Still, the compliment she cares about most is hearing that her couples felt taken care of, start to finish.

When she's not photographing a wedding, you'll find Kimberly planning the next family beach trip, taking a Pilates class, playing mahjong with friends, or out on the pickleball court.
